I stopped at a mall in Boston today and saw a young woman wearing them as pants. It was horrible. Everyone she walked by turned to look, including me. To me these look more like a thicker less stretchy mesh than tights and with the ruching somewhat looser around the leg...</p> <p>A lot of capri tights are either opaque or more or less sheer depending on how much they have to stretch in certain places giving them uneven coloring. Although the price on the pair you've linked seems unreasonably high! At first look I was a little aghast but they quickly grew on me. I am thinking this could be a good less stark option for shorter summer dresses.. so long as the wind isn't blowing...
