I intend to wear mine for sure. Mostly because our spring/summer is typically too hot for jeans so Fall/winter is my chance. I have some white flared and as soon as I work out footwear I will be putting them back in rotation.

It's really too hot here to wear any kind of jeans in the summer (unless you go out at night, which I really don't). So yes to white jeans in other seasons. I love them with other neutrals, especially with taupe or cognac footwear. I also love the plaid idea.

I don't know if I should admit this because I said I wouldn't do white jeans at all...but I recently ended up adding some cropped ones that I found on sale and decided to try them. I knew in advance that I'd likely wear them only *outside* of the summer season because I prefer darker colors with white if I wear it at all, and to my eye, that works best in cooler temps. (It's also, yes, a 70s retro thing as Anna's link hints.)

So, I'll definitely combine these with black, dark gray, or possibly brown items. I think olive would be great with white, and I might try some rust. I can see that others might enjoy navy and white (probably too nautical/classic for my own taste though).

I really like unfrumped's point about plaids--that would be a great combo.

I was just thinking about wearing my cream BR cords on Tuesday. It is supposed to be cooler. With that in mind, you have a wonderful idea.

Last year I wore white jeans all year round to get more wear out of them and found that browns look good with white, and also liked white-out looks with mixed textures or shades of white in fall and winter. They are unexpected and cool weather versions allow for interesting layering.

Anna I love both of those looks, thanks for sharing (not sure my face can move that way ). Totally dig that cape sweater.

I can't speak to what mixes would be considered " fresh" , but I like camel, cognac, olive with white for fall. Somd of Angie's ensembles this summer to me work for fall if the fabrics are tweaked for weather. Rich leathers. And I think plaids that include a little white but look substantial also give a nice fall vibe.

last fall there was quite a bit of wearing white jeans all year round. Angie has some photos too from a blogger that wears hers all year round . I wore mine all last fall and winter with my cognac boots. This year I am feeling tired of them so a giving them a rest for a while. But this is also due to wearing my flares that is a fresh new look for me. So by all means wear yours as long as you feel like wearing them. they are not practical for rain and snow, but I live in a mild climate. White goes great with all the fall colors.

Yes and yes :D

(I enjoy wearing my white jeans in fall with black tall boots, and equivalently graphic tops. Also tall brown boots and softer more traditional autumnal colors on top.)

I've been wearing my white jeans (Emerson Fry Micks and Frame Le Garçon) very frequently this summer. This year, I'm not finding myself enthused about autumn and traditional autumn colors.

Should I transition the whites into fall with a higher proportion of greys and blacks?

What about trying some cream corduroys mixed with traditional fall colors?
