I think that if they fit and are flattering (or JFE--what I mean is, do you like how you look in them and are just querying stylishness and where to wear), then to me they look very nice, somewhat dressy and are polished enough to wear to your workplace (barring a specific dress code prohibition) if styled in a non-gear way. So at work, I would not do sneakers, certainly can wear flats but nice flats, a "real" top and not a T shirt; in cooler weather a knit blazer or some other comfortable, washable (thinking elementary school!) topper would look great and also amps up the work look--to me that not only dresses them as more professional for your own purposes, but also keeps you more below the radar screen of any dress code police! This way you have the comfort factor of the joggers, but everything else about the outfit says "dressed for work".

i think this are totally work appropriate, just think of them as straight leg dress pants.

I really like the look of them. I think the shoes will make or break the outfit when wearing them to work or church. You can certainly dress them up and look occasion-appropriate.

I never want this trend to end.

You should check for some of Aida's posts... pretty sure she posted fairly recently how she wore hers.

Karie-I think you could definitely get away with wearing these to work as a teacher...especially as an elementary school teacher! My 10 year old son, for example, would think you looked amazing because he exclusively wears track pants! ;). All kidding aside, you have a good sense of style and while they would be on the causal side, they are very smart looking.

My biggest need is for pants to wear to work, and I'm not sure about wearing these to work (elementary teacher). I would also wear them to church and for just going out. I already have the Leith track pants from a few years ago and while I like and still wear them, I do find them tricky to style because of the volume around the waist. The cut of the Leith's is a bit different; they are wider at the top and narrower at the bottom.

We are still seeing versions of these here and it looks to me like they are still quite current. The comfort factor is a big part of that I think

How do you want to wear them, Karie? I think the first blush of the trend has passed, but that Athleisure is here to stay! I have a pair that I wear quite a bit in the summer. I wear mine with wedges, mostly, and a silky, relaxed tunic.

I tried them on (a friend has them and they are too short for her but a perfect length for me) and they're quite comfortable. I don't know if they're appropriate for work, though, and what I really need are pants I can wear to work.

I was thinking about purchasing these, but are track pants still in style? Does anyone have experience with this brand, IMAN from HSN? I've never bought clothing from HSN before.

ETA: I'm still on the fence and have a few more hours to decide (I'm in NJ visiting a friend and she is either going to sell them to me or return them as they are too short for her), so do you have any styling suggestions?
