My clothes never worked because I never accessorised and it can be attributed to ideas off this site. First it was the expensive belt, then I got red framed sunglasses, then requested a statement necklace as a gift, then an electric blue scarf. Now today, I found a red bag reduced. When I got to work, I realized how different my outfit was from anything that I would have been wearing a year ago.</p> <p>What I wore Friday:<br /> peacock sweet pea top (blues and purples) with white cami<br /> skinny jeans<br /> silver swirly earings<br /> purple chunky bracelet<br /> black cordoroy jacket<br /> silver and black ballet flats</p> <p>What I would have worn a year ago:<br /> baggy red top<br /> baggy jeans<br /> black running sneakers<br /> black fleece</p> <p>Not only was everything that I wore relatively new, but I didn't even have any pieces of those TYPES in my wardrobe then! No well-fitting jeans, skimming tops, earrings, bracelets, ballet flats, close fitting outer layers... the list goes on and on!</p> <p>I just wanted to say thank you to Angie and Greg of course, but also to everyone at YLF. I know I've only been posting for a few months, but I was lurking for many months before that, and both the blog and the forum have been invaluable. I feel so much better about the way I look now, and fashion and clothes have gone from something that I only thought about under duress when something in my wardrobe was falling apart and needed to be replaced to something that is so much fun for me, and gives me pleasure every day. </p> <p>I know I still have so much to learn, and I'm looking forward to a long and continuing relationship here with YLF and all of you! </p>
