I do have a pair of plaid jeans where they do not match on the side, but it is very dark and subtle and only in the place where the jeans taper, so I figured it was acceptable. I've tried on many a top or jacket or sweater in a fun stripe or plaid, and the lesser brands don't match the pattern. I thought it would not matter on some types of simple&nbsp;T's, but&nbsp;it did matter&nbsp;by often making&nbsp;me feel like the item&nbsp;looked sort of&nbsp;cheaply manufactured (whatever the price). &nbsp;That feeling was enough to take away the fun of the pattern.<br />I love that gray windowpane and agree it's so disappointing. Today I did and I am disappointed. The size 14 fits me well and I really like the fabric, but I am so disappointed in the seaming. Seams that do not match on plaid or large checked fabrics drive me bonkers. &nbsp;The front of the jacket is fine but when I raise my arms or moved them in any way I saw what you see below. It is going back. If this issue does not bother you like it does me, I recommend the jacket. </p>
