Certainly not big. I do think you would suit a shorter top as well and that would be in step with the high waist trend. Can you mock something up by tucking in a camisole, or knotting a tee at your waist or something like that, to see how you feel in those proportions? It's been great to finally find high waisted running shorts long enough that I don't get thigh chafing, but short enough to wear in hot weather.</p> <p>My question is what to wear with them.<br /> I have shown three recent outfits. Tops 1 &amp; 2 are wearing out, and I am not sure how flattering they are.</p> <p>Thoughts for new tops? </p> <p>I am, as ever, particularly concerned with vertical proportions. I have been attracted to the shorter fitted tops most women at my gym wear, but a bit tentative at the same time.</p> <p>ETA pics 4-8 in response to Jules suggestions. 4 is a very bagged out running top knotted at the side. 6 and 7 is a camisole, not an actual running top, eg older under in 7 </p>
