Great suggestions Ana! I love the BR shirt the most, it's feminine yet polished and it won't cause much bulk under the skirt. However if you're slim and rectangleish, the bulk wouldn't be a concern.

This skirt is beautiful! It really should be the "star" of your outfit, because of the bright color and the large bold pattern. I would choose something solid and very tailored, either button up or pullover/zip up (as long as it's slim and fitted) and then tuck it into the skirt. That's pretty much the only option I can think of if you want to show off the band. If you wanted, you could wear a cardigan over the top of the blouse, retro 50s style. Here are a couple ideas:

How about this top in navy tucked in with a white cardigan buttoned just a couple of buttons to cinch it in:
http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/p.....=cat303177
Cardi ideas:
http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/p.....=cat302185
http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/p.....=cat303174

White is the obvious choice for a shirt, but what about the brown top, with a white blazer over it, and some gold sandals or ballet flats? This might be a good option for transitioning into early fall:
http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/p.....=cat303179

I love the roll tabs on the sleeves on this one. It'd be very "Roman Holiday" with the skirt and some flat lace up or gladiator sandals:
http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/p.....=cat303179

A simple, pretty option from Banana:
http://www.bananarepublic.com/.....pid=556386

Of course, you might have tops that are similar to this that you can work with, I posted these to give you some visual ideas.

I recently bought a skirt at Anthropologie that looks best when it sits at my natural waist. I'm really at a loss regarding tops--the skirt really looks best if the waist is showing. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Here is the skirt: http://www.anthropologie.com/a.....;color=cor

Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!
