My stomach was absolutely churning as I clicked to complete the order, but my guy is the one who justified the purchase. He reminded me that I've been looking for a trench almost exactly like that for as long as we've known each other (over a decade), and that I have already had an unsuccessful attempt making it myself. And then to my 'it'll probably go on sale at the end of the season' - he replied that if I waited until then, I might not get to wear it until next year - assuming they still have my size. </p> <p>The down side is that the only time he's ever this encouraging about big purchases, is when there's something even more expensive that he wants for himself. My guess is that it's probably something guitar related. In any case, I think I'm done shopping for a LONG while.</p> <p>The trench arrived a bit wrinkled from being folded in the shipping box, but once I've ironed it I'll post some pics.
