I take a large chunk of time and create outfits, photograph them and record them. Then on weekdays I can get dressed quickly I just check the list. Though this is probably related to me having huge gaping wardrobe holes. But I also noticed that I've got a better eye now. I have one sleeveless layering top that in the old days I would have worn under the gauzy blouse (just because it's black), but now I saw that the necklines clashed and I wouldn't have it. </p> <p>I also tried on this Free People floral skirt I bought last year (after joining YLF) and I've not worn it outside yet, and have been suspecting its orphan state is going to lead to its being ejected from my wardrobe soon. It's just too A-line and hip-widening. I guess. I did the latter and at first it was annoying (I just wanted to be done with it!) and then I got totally sucked into it...but nothing seemed to work. Two skirts, a denim shirt, various pairs of shoes...nothing was exactly right (but nothing was terribly off, either). My expectations are just a lot higher nowadays.</p> <p>The first two pics are what I settled on, and then ultimately I subtracted the gauzy top. So the end result is okay...there's nothing wrong with this outfit, but it doesn't look like an outfit that's the end result of a half-hour of trying things on. </p> <p>Oh well. </p>
