A longer meow sweater or a plain cropped sweater would both be adorable. Also, if you think you like the proportions I might try a cropped sweater over a crew neck or tank top. I think the stripes of the turtleneck book ending the cropped sweater make the sweater look disproportionate. It skimmed so nicely down the mid section. So I think it is possible for you to try again! The blouse would be slimmer in cut, maybe with some stretch. I think even I could wear it over a shirt, if the crop was in the right spot. For me, id would like it to hit at the point where my waist looks slimmest. Should I ever leave the house in this? This sweater is from F21 and was supposed to be my Halloween costume to go with DD's mouse. I couldn't get the proportions to work. I was inspired by a post of Rae's to try it with stripes. Yay - be brave and wear although I for sure will get strange looks. Nay - put in in the give away bag for the neices ASAP!! </p>
