I think that this tee would look better if it were tucked—I think that what bothers me is that you can see the underlying zipper and button from the shorts. BUT I also think that this tee would look better with looser bottoms rather than with other fitted items, such as the shorts shown here. I just bought some chinos (basically pants that are cut like boyfriend jeans and are on the baggy side), and I think that my fitted tees work great juxtaposed with the looser bottoms.

I actually think the shape is flattering on you.....whilst not trendy at the moment I don't think it is awfully dated.
I would wear under jackets or for layering mostly.. I do like a fitted tee under some flowing toppers or even a blazer.
I would also wear with shorts for casual wear - in the garden, summer holidays, exercising etc...

Toss. I find these fits even less fun for loungewear. Keep for layering if one is a key color or neckline style for a specific outfit.
I just went through a similar exercise. I actually had some in 2 sizes, for under or on own. In most cases I was able to see that the easier fit would work for both. I am, however, trying not to skew totally slouchy or oversized-- same with sweaters. Some classic easy tailored fits i might not be wearing as much This month I'm still keeping around. For now am identifying all of those too- snug fits that I think will sti be appealing to ME even if fashion would swing back that way.
For one thing it is getting easier to see that I can only wear so many anyway and will want the refresher summer T here and there anyway. So I'm seeing its crazy to " save" nice knit tops in current fits lest one get a spot. I try to get my casual items at reasonable prices and I should just wear them ( not talking for house painting or spading the garden, but for usual everday). So then I really don't need many 3- rd stringer items.

Yup. Time to get rid of them. Nothing wrong with them, per se, but the fit is not current. I wear tees like this that are in good shape in my sleepwear capsule.

I ditto kkards. Mine are staples for lounge, working out, sleeping, layering.

I'm with toss too....I'm not liking my fitted things anymore.

Do you wear t shirts under sweaters? I don't, so for me they wouldn't be worth keeping.

I was in the same position as you earlier this summer - what was up with all of these fitted t's from a few years ago? I got rid of all but one black and one white (for under things).

Thanks! I think I will keep a couple and toss the rest. It's silly how many of these I have accumulated over time.

I no longer think this tight is a current look worn on it's own. I'd use them as a layer piece. I only kept 2 or 3 in my closet for that purpose.

I have several T-Shirts like this in my closet. During my closet clean out I was trying to decide:

1. Keep to wear under sweaters.

2. They are still ok to wear on their own with shorts or jeans.

3. Just toss them! They are too tight! Find something else.

What do you think? I am on the fence.

Vote yay to keep, nay to toss.
