But I agree with everyone, it's all in how you style it. But I like the thought about purchasing more sophisticated pieces which are not in my comfort zone, Liz, and you're right, tie-dye is my comfort-zone. I purchased a pair of white linen pants and intended to pair these together! No jackets or toppers, it's very warm here!! If you really want to move toward more sophisticated, this probably isn't the best pick but it's a cute option for summer, especially with white. Nothing says that having a child has to change your style. That said, I'm going to vote return, just because you asked the question, and because you're wondering about "sophisticated." Most items can be worn at any age with proper styling. In my mid 50s, I still wear the occasional mini dress. I wear them as tunics with leggings.  The cute top you posted would look quite different worn with flared denim or white skinnies vs daisy dukes. Also, a search for sophisticated boho on pinterest might be worthwhile. One ill advised late night shopping spree, I snagged a tie dye tank top which I loved but now am wondering whether I am too old to wear. Picture below: (The colours are more vibrant in person) When is one too old to wear tie-dye? Will I look like a leftover from the hippie days? Should I keep or return this?
