You have seen so much in that number of years and I hope we hear more about it.<br /> I also loved the maxi dress of the 70's but owned one then and never wore it because it is so much fabric to deal with all day, and I just felt odd wearing it. Here at YLF alot of things become crystal clear with Angie's explanations. I now know that the reason I didn't feel right wearing my maxi dress is because it felt like I was wearing a nightgown in public. I'm 5'4" and a maxi dress makes me look like I'm standing in a bucket...not the best look. Like others have suggested, try for the most flattering spot above, on or just below your knee and wear tights, microfishnets and boots or booties. Best of luck on your battle with anorexia. Where can I shop for smaller sizes that are actually age appropriate, (not matronly) and would you say I'm too old for a maxi dress?
