There's certainly no guarantees that this is the answer but it is certainly worth a try. </p> <p>I did get a big of good news that our employee in the car accident does not have to have surgery on her neck. She will be in the hospital for several days and in a brace for several months but she should be ok. </p> <p>Thank you all for your kind words. You brought tears to my eyes but a smile to my face too when reading about your girl and the food fairy. From what I've read, Lily could be like a&nbsp;new&nbsp;dog after getting relief from the pain and itch in her ears. She's only 5 so at first we were totally opposed to the surgery since she seems too young to lose her hearing. But I hate how much her ears bother her and as the vet said, she probably isn't hearing all that well now. </p> <p>Anyway, I very much appreciate all your kind words and hugs. He is now on life support but probably only for another day or so since he is not expected to live. Then this morning I got a call about one of our employees in another state who was hit by a drunk driver last night and is in serious condition with numerous injuries. </p> <p>I'm also struggling with knowing that&nbsp; one of my pups probably has to have surgery that will remove her ear canals. Infections have been an ongoing battle for a few years now and the vet believes it is the only way to cure them once and for all. </p> <p>I've been spending time on here because I really need the distraction. It's difficult to concentrate on any real work.&nbsp;</p>
