It's going to be a long day because I have my evening class on top of a full day of work. I like to wear happy colors to keep me going during the day. </p> <p>So... I'm in the midst of a love affair with dark reds and berry tones. This color combo was inspired by Ornella's recent posts using fall foliage to spur outfit color palettes. Also Lyn* paired a cardigan and a waist cinching belt with a party dress to de-poof the dress (a bit). I was wondering how to pull this bright orange skirt into fall and into the office. Score 1 for me on the first count -- this is definitely fall, but I'm not so sure on office appropriate given my role a newly minted tax attorney. It's not so much the poof as it is the color which is every bit as bright as it looks in the picture. </p> <p>The alternative is picture #2. I like it because the skirt is the same shape as the orange one. I also get the benefit of box pleats (yay!) -- nothing to de-poof and no color to downplay (less party). </p> <p>So which should I wear #1 or #2? </p>
