My dad suffered a severe brain injury just before he turned 60. The team of neuro doctors told us all that there was NO way he would ever speak, walk or perform on his own. They advised us to stop life support. I wasn't convinced and spent a lot of time researching and finding ways to get him to respond. The doctors ignored me. His wife (second marriage) was the decision maker. Anyway, they did stop life support (the morning after I&nbsp; and other family members privately told him they were going to and he needed to fight hard if he wanted to live). He woke up once they removed the life support and began talking straight away - took a while to make sense but he began joking around within days!&nbsp; The doctors didn't want to visit with us much after that. Fast forward through a lot of rehab over about two years and he was&nbsp; back about 80% of his former self. He suffered some heart issues during the whole ordeal (previous issue), and that impacted him. But he lived many more years to enjoy with his kids and grand kids. Blessed this Mothers day and how.</p> <p>In sartorial news: I will post pics tomorrow. It was eat, pray and love a malgamamated.</p> <p>But God had different plans for me.On the way back from delhi to mumbai I had&nbsp; a seizure even though I had been seizure free&nbsp;for &gt;12 months prior and was unable to walk off the plane and had to be lofted off via air ambulance.
