I have to put aside fashion and style to comment.

Would you be upset if your husband bought a <insert object of interest to your husband> and hid the purchase from you, or lied to you about how much it cost?

Could you tell your husband that you saw these glasses and loved them, but they are so expensive....and see what he says. He may not care if you buy them and then you will wear them w/out any feelings of guilt. Or maybe you have a birthday or anniversary coming up and could make a request as a gift from him?

I know that's not the popular answer, but the only thing between you and those glasses is your husband (well that and $360).

The store is still holding my glasses. I am still trying to justify it and think of a way to hide the total cost from my husband. I'm bad! My girlfriend even offered to put them on her store credit card so my husband wouldn't know how much they were. It's an interest free card, so I wouldn't be paying any extra for them. I found some on ebay, but I don't trust that they are real or that they would fit well. I wish I had places like Nordstrom Rack to go to, but nothing around here.

Angie what do you think? Do you think these glasses are too trendy or are they more of a classic that I would wear for a long long time? They are big. Are big always in? What is the rule about your eyebrows showing. Mine always do, except in these. Didn't you say you prefer them not showing? So, is it just a preference?

I did just buy a pair of D&G's last summer. They were more than half the cost at $150.00. I do still wear those, but I don't feel ultra stylish in them. They do fit my face well though.

If I buy these from the store they would be more money with tax and all. If I ordered them from Nordstroms I could save the tax and shipping is free. I did find that all the glasses fit differently though, so I don't know if I should order them or not.

I think they are beautiful and interesting glasses. As long as you take good care of them, I think they are a great investment, especially because they fit you so well.
Just a suggestion you can take or leave: I bought my favorite pair of sunglasses at Nordstrom Rack - Guccis for $70, down from $300. They seemed to have a very large selection of sunglasses at decent prices. If you aren't 100% sure, try places like Nordstrom Rack and Loehmanns (if you have those nearby). If you don't find any fab discounted glasses, those are the ones.

Have you tried searching for them online? My husband got me a pair of Coach sunglasses for my birthday. We tried them on in the store but they didn't have the right color. Then he found them online, significantly cheaper. Of course, his googling skills are comparable to Tanya's. I have a really hard time finding sunglasses too so if you find some you like, I would go for it even if it means saving up for a while.

Those are seriously stylish glasses Shannon! True, they aren't cheap, but it sounds like you have been looking for a perfect pair for quite some time. So if these are 'it' and they offer the right kind of protection (as it happens I read an article about that this evening, http://www.mayoclinic.com/heal.....on/AN00832 confirms what they were saying), I would definitely consider them. After all, quality sunglasses do last you a long time, don't they;-)

I was wondering though about the 'covering your eyebrows' thing: I once heard that, to be a good fit, one should actually be able to see your eyebrows, and that always stuck in my mind. I know that bigger glasses have been in the last few seasons, so now I'm a bit confused. Maybe it depends on your particular face shape?

I found these sunglasses in Chicago and fell in love! They were too expensive so I did not buy them. Well, back home at my favorite local department store, Von Maur, they have my glasses!!!!! Now I want them bad again. Do you think it is insane to spend $360.00 for sunglasses? My husband would think so I'm sure. They fit my face so well. The very first sunglasses that I have ever tried on that cover my eyebrows and aren't too wide for my face. Are they worth it? If I bought them I might become single, but I would look fab! LOL!
