Taylor, I am 5'2" and do not have long legs, so I find it frustrating that so many petite lengths are just too short. Who could they possibly be hemming them for?

Vani, thank you for your nice comment! I do recommend F21 for those inexpensive vests if you want to give it a go (can't remember if you've done the waistcoat look, but I bet you would rock it...)

I would think TR Billy Big T straight leg ,dark wash would work for you. I have a version of these in skinny leg, and dare I say the DISCO style Billy's. They also come in white denim:)

Then have them hemmed to your appropriate shoe length.:)

May I ask how tall you are. No matter ,these are plenty long, just curious:)
I think these run about 170.00. And they come in petite if you need them.

April, so late to the party and I can't believe I haven't commented yet. This is an awesome outfit that I would copy in a heartbeat. Love it! Sometimes, I just like to go with the whole neutral tone, with just metallic jewelry, like you have here.

So funny, Taylor, I keep saying I am taking that plunge but admit I haven't actually pulled the trigger yet. I get my mind all set on something like the COH Ambers and then someone makes a great suggestion such as your "Try True Religion!" and I waver.

Do you have a recommended style of the TR brand? I wanted something dark wash that could be hemmed for flats, pretty basic with no elaborate details. A go-to pair of jeans in either a bootcut or straight leg (no complex silhouettes such as skinnies or flares).

I love your vest:) You look cute:)

Have you decided on some premium denim yet. That slim frame of yours is screaming for some cute True Religions (or such) to show off!!:)

Gorgeous, darling. Simply fab. A big fat 10! No colour police here. I love neutral outfits! I just push people out of their black ruts :0)

So funny, I went all-neutral myself yesterday, which is a rarity! But sometimes, that's just the color palette we need at the moment.

Love your look; the vest and the t-shirt really elongate your torso in a wonderful way. The necklace works for me, but you could do a shorter one too if you wanted.

April awesome - I love the necklace, don't change a thing and you just tempted me to go to F21 and actually shop there. I'm a sucker for cool vests.

Yay, I like it too. I love bright colors, but sometimes I am just in the mood to stick to neutrals. However, if you did want to brighten it up, you could wear a necklace in a different color. A long, purple necklace would be nice.

I love everything about it April! I'm quite a big fan of the all neutrals look, so no complaints here;-) And grey is such a marvellous colour. Your necklace is lovely, if you want to mix it up, you could try a pendant or a shorter chunky necklace in a bright colour (green, yellow, red, purple, turquoise, teal...). If you want to continue the neutral theme, then chunky white beads would look great too.

It's a cute outfit. I do think a short, chunky necklace with a punch of color would look great with it.

In a "no jeans" educational setting, this is about as casual as it gets for me on a workday. This outfit is all gray, black and white: gray ATL trousers, Angie's famous BP workhorse white cami, gray AT tee, black pinstriped vest from F21 (I know, I know, but they do have good vests!):

http://i649.photobucket.com/al.....G_0260.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/al.....G_0262.jpg

Ignore the white sockette on my arm -- it's not an official part of the outfit. :)

Comments appreciated, particularly on accessorizing. I tend to like this coin necklace (Express) with this vest, but would a short chunky one go better? Also, I expect to hear from the color police on this one -- okay, have at it...
