Certain photos would make me hate my hair. I'm not a good example because I finally caved and started applying temporary colour shampoos. Yours seriously looks good in the photo with your brother. I’m not even sure I can identify or articulate further what my problem with my hair color is except that I’m a used to it being a warm brown and this cool shade seems alien. Also, it doesn’t even look that bad in the mirror but then I’ll see something like this generally unflattering photo (with my handsome brother!) and think “Is THAT what I look like?!” (I think that sunscreen was also turning my face orange?!) So I don’t know which is how it “really” looks.</p> <p>Thanks also for the glasses love. I’m going to have to start a whole new thread about this! I love these bronze frames but I’ve had them over 10 years (even rebought them once) and they’re getting a little beat up and the lenses are so cloudy and scratched I can barely see. It took a bit of adjustment. Mostly, I love it, but yes, there are times when I feel bored by it. I dyed it blue for a few weeks last spring -- that was fun. At the same time I do understand that sometimes you might hate your hair yourself, because that happens to me and has done at times ever since 2007 when I started going grey. A while back, my husband replaced a light bulb in one of our bathrooms, and suddenly I really didn't like looking in that bathroom mirror. The light was too yellow! He switched out the bulbs for natural ones, and it's much better now.
