For those who asked--yes, I would be getting this dress because the blue one is not available. I have searched high and low for the blue, and it is nowhere to be found. I had been waiting to purchase it because I wasn't sure which size to get, and the last time I was at the store the saleswoman told me to return in a month, as it should still be available. She said if they started to get low, she would call me. I returned a month later and the dress was gone, and had sold out of every other store in the country as well. I prefer the smaller size. The larger size, flares out more at the sides near the bottom. Almost like a triangle. And I see less waist definition. The smaller one, has less flare and nips in at the waist nicely. Personally I don't think the smaller size is too short although I don't know how it is with the sit down test. It was a great bright blue color that really suited me, but now it's gone. I went back to the store yesterday to try on the same dress in white. I like white dresses, and already have a few, but I do think I would still get a decent amount of wear out of this one. </p> <p>I have two questions: 1.) Does the dress look good enough to purchase, and 2.) If so, which size do I buy? I prefer the fit, especially in the waist, of the smaller size, but I prefer the length in the bigger size. Right now, I am on the high end of my weight range, so I am definitely expecting to lose a few pounds (which I expect will drop the hemline a little), but if the smaller dress looks too short, I probably shouldn't get it. </p>
