Hi everyone, thanks for the input. I was on the fence about the jacket but now it is in my cart.

goldenpig, I will post some pics soon. It will be a few weeks bc I have to have the stuff shipped to me here in Mexico where I live.

Claire, thanks for the encouragement. You are exactly right, I am trying hard to build a new back to work wardrobe! Thanks again for the kind words.

Deborah, I hear ya! Things are not where they used to be, let´s just say that! haha Part of what drew me to this was that it is stretchy. I hate the feeling of being constricted especially when I am at work sitting at a desk all day. I need comfy stuff that still looks presentable. I think I found it with this jacket.

Again thank you to everyone that responded, I feel much more confident in my choice now!

It looks very nice. I remember needing to be comfortable at work after my baby. It seemed to take some time before everything got back to normal. This looks soft and comfortable but also smart.

I think a longer jacket is sometimes good if you are short-waisted (unless the belt hits you in a bad spot). It looks really nice and work appropriate to me and could be very forgiving if you've had a baby. Great with jeans or other casual slacks, I imagine as well. This could be the cornerstone for your new back-to-work wardrobe!

That looks like a great jacket/pant suit. Seems like it would be very versatile. Can you get it and post a picture of yourself in it?

Thanks to DressLover I found out The Limited launched a plus size line today. Woohoo, good timing since I go back to work next week from maternity leave, and my closet needs some help.

What do you think of this jacket...is it functional and versatile enough to use with a work outfit as shown with the matching pants (under the link "Get This Look" at the bottom left) and also with jeans on the weekend and casual Fridays at the office?

http://www.eloquii.com/Divine-.....lt,pd.html

I am also not sure about the length of the jacket. I am a teeny bit short waisted so I am really not sure if it will be too long for me.

Thoughts?

Thanks again for all of the advice!
