Claudia -- it's been so rainy here I am still turning to dark colors. But you have a great point -- time to start pulling out the lighter colors!

Suz -- Great observation about the structure in the shoulders! I hadn't noticed that.

Shannon -- You know what, I don't own a real camera, heh. Unfortunately the lighting in my room is not that great either. I will try to figure out some solution to get better pics!

Angie -- Bootcuts are a great suggestion. I also have a pair of CoH Huttons with more of a flare; those might work!

bj1111 -- Thanks!

Una -- I remember the blouse on you Yeah, the legs on the pants are crazy wide.

Claire -- It might be I just keep the pants for retro or costume parties ;)

Jjsloane -- I am thinking that may be the case too!

Aida -- Hehe, I am wearing almost 3" heels in this photo!

I have worn this blouse over wide legs before, but it definitely needed a good bit of heel to balance out the wideness (I'm also petite). I think that might be the case here, too.

I like the blouse a lot, but am not yet into this full over full and I think the pants overwhelm you a bit.

I love the idea of this, but defer to Angie. Maybe an alteration would help the trousers.

Love the blouse of course, I have it too. I think the pants need some tapering or something since you are small, like me. Or you need monster heels.

Not sure, Cathy. The wide leg trousers look VERY wide on super petite you in the photos. I'm thinking bootcuts would look better. Still voluminous, but a little more structured :)

LOVE that blouse and the low contrasting bottoms.

I think it's cool. I like the way the blouse fits so nicely at the shoulder; it gives a bit of structure to the flowy look.

I can't make out the pattern on the pants, but know this blouse. I like this silhouette and would personally wear this myself. I think it looks good on you, but it is dark and a lot of fabric for what they are showing for spring and summer. You might want to save this for fall and winter. But I really do like it.

So I was going through my closet and found a old pair of flowy palazzo like pants. Remembering Angie's posts about soft bottoms, volume on volume, and pattern mixing, I thought I would try a crazy combo.

It's the Hinge peacock feather blouse on top and wide-leg pants with thin dark red and black stripes on bottom. What do you think ? Are the pants workable at all?

Honestly, I won't be offended if you don't like it. Just trying something out of normal-I don't normally wear so much volume because I am short and rarely wear any patterns.
