I too have a horrible time finding anything that is light enough to match my skin, especially when there are only two or three colors available. Right now I'm using the lightest shade of Clinique's Even Better foundation (SPF 20) mixed with CeraVe day moisturizer (SPF 30). It's just the right amount of coverage, and the CeraVe takes care of the dry patch that I always have between my eyebrows. I love how mixing a relatively expensive foundation with a relatively inexpensive moisturizer makes the more expensive product last twice as long.

I've used Laura Mercier for years, and I'm very happy with it. I use the #2 formula (fair but not the fairest).

Another Laura Mercier fan here--probably worth trying on in person if you are very fair to ensure proper color matching (although the formulation is sheer so you have a little bit of a range to work with as it need not be a PERFECT match).

I also like cream blush formulations, particularly in the summer--they go on easily, last for ages and give you a dewy finish. Stila makes some nice ones (called Convertible Color).

Laura, Neutrogena does have a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen spf 30 right now. Ageless Intensives in a blue bottle. But it's pretty dark. I bought some last fall and with my end of summer glow it matched, but now in spring I'm feeling a tad orange with it! I wish it were available in shade options . . . for now I put a light dusting of mineral makeup over it in a lighter shade.

I am as pale as they come, and I love my Aveda Inner Light tinted moisturizer (with SPF 15). It comes in 6 shades, and lasts me a long time even though I wear it almost every day.

I really like a Revlon ColorStay product called active tinted moisturizer - but I just googled it to find you a link, and see that it's been discontinued! Argh. I hate it when that happens.

Most of the cosmetic lines here in the US are too dark for me even in the lightest shade, but I've had decent luck with Neutrogena. I'm not sure if they have a tinted moisturizer right now or not.

Thank you for all of your suggestions. My skin being as fair as it is, it is normally too fair for "fair" products where there are only three shades available. So as much as I normally like Olay and Boots products I will be giving them a miss.

I have had success with Bobbi Brown before so will definitely check that out. Thank you for the suggestion of Laura Mercier.

Bella - never heard of Aeevo, but will see if somewhere like Selfridges carry it. I very much like to try before I buy.

Lynne - I used to get my eyelashes tinted all the time, so will have to find somewhere to get it done.

When I was looking for a tinted moisturizer, I actually ended up with Mac's Face and Body foundation, which is very, very sheer. (I also tend to do what Lynne suggests, re: mixing in moisturizer.)

Laura Mercier's tinted foundation gets raves, but I didn't care for the fair shades (I'm usually the pastiest color available).

I mix a little of my moisturizer with my normal foundation, Fi, and apply it after moisturizer (my skin is fairly dry). They're both spf15, so I don't worry about diluting the sun protection. Eyelash tinting is a big timesaver/moral booster for me :).

Do you have access to Aveeno products?
I normally use Olay for daily moisturizer but since the beginning of summer, I've wanted a tinted moisturizer, and switched to this:
http://www.amazon.com/Aveeno-P.....B001OMIA1Y
It's got everything you want, and it is very good.

Bobby Brown has a new tinted moisturizer out that is getting really good reviews. I haven't tried it but the woman who did my facial on the weekend was saying it is her favorite and she tries a lot of products in her line of work.

I use good old Boots No7. They have it for fair, medium or dark skin. The medium suites me for the summer. For time saving try the Max Factor lipfinity last lip tint. It is a lip stain that you can top with lip balm. It lasts for ages, I wear it all the time now. I gave up on lipstick as I tend to chew it off!

I am in the process of updating/replacing my cosmetics for summer and wondered what recommendations the forum had for tinited moisturiser. Normally I would wear base, foundation, concealer etc, but I don't really have the time for a three step process anymore, so a tinited moisturiser seems to be a good compromise.

Ideally I am looking for something for fair skin (I am normally the lightest shade), SPF 15 or higher and no more than £20. I have reasonably unfussy skin, but do suffer from a dry patch in between my eyebrows.

Also, do any of you more experienced MOTG have any recommendations for time saving cosmetics?
