And the outfit is super cute. The way you've styled it doesn't look preppy to me. So maybe think Parisian (you know the French sailor thing) instead of preppy. Funny what you say about being over distressed denim--I'm not usually behind on fashion, but I'm just about to buy my first distressed pair. I've always dissed them thinking they were contrived and then that I'm too old, but I finally tried a pair, and they're so freakin cute! The actually have little patches on the inside which is kind of different.&nbsp;</p> <p>I'm more of a stalker than outfit poster, but I'm happy you're posting pics again--I think we have a somewhat similar style. My daughter is a 21 year-old "makeup maven" &nbsp;and tells ME what to do.. &nbsp;She is so skilled at makeup it is frightening. All these years &nbsp;I thought she was just lying in bed being a lazy teenager, she was watching You Tube videos on applying &nbsp;makeup . &nbsp;She grabbed my shoulder with one hand, my chin with another and turned my face into the light to examine my mascara (she's also 4 inches taller ). &nbsp;I now use her cast-off makeup , or "borrow" things I want to try rather than the other way around.
