I think they would also work with cargoes if they are slim. I don’t think I would pair these sweaters with bottoms with a lot of volume— so no culottes or skirts with volume at the waist, as the combined volume would be too much. Using archeological dating, looking at the layer these are in, I’d say I started thinking about a short, chunky cardi 2 years ago. </p> <p>Those two are no longer available, but now that stores here are starting to open up, it might be time to go shopping for one, to go with these things (the blue/white top is part of a 2-piece dress with a slim wrap skirt), pinstriped &amp; flare jeans, and my orchid/lavender/or-is-it-lilac pants, which are slim fitting except for the front pleats. </p> <p>Do you have this kind of cardi? What shapes do you pair it with? Please show me.</p> <p>Thanks for reading and for any thoughts &amp; images you share </p>
