It would have made it into my cart if not for the fact that it was more of a want than a "need." The dress shape has a glamorous 70s vibe that I adore, but the print is modern. It is both geometric and abstract at the same time. From afar, it looks a little like houndstooth but running in bands. There's a subtle large stripe happening in the pattern. In the skirt those bands are connected to make an, again, very subtle chevron pattern. It's patterns in patterns. It sounds hectic, but it's not. The leather culottes look like they come to the model's natural waist or maybe just below. She is wearing them with a tucked in silky long sleeved blouse in a teal blue/black/white geometric pattern. One photo shows an added long black vest like an open sleeveless jacket over the blouse. Nice.<br /> Una did a great job of describing the EF tunic ultramarine blue. The "Cabernet" color is a deep wine red or dark berry color. It and the blue would both look great on you, as would the black.<br /> The Celeste top is quite dramatic and rather fitted around the middle inthe photo. The Minkoff bag in ash is a pale gray. It is structured but the leather is soft and there is nice detail. One is the fact that the Canadian dollar is tanking, and a spree under such conditions wouldn't be the most prudent idea. The other, unfortunately, is that a lot of the items that appeal to me from Angie's list simply aren't available in plus sizes! This is deeply disappointing to me. Lafayette148 used to make great stuff in fits for someone like me. This year? Zip. Not a single piece. Maggy London's plus-size affiliate London Times has plenty of options, but no equivalents of the straight-sized items that sound so fab. I want in on some of that scuba fabric action, but London Times isn't delivering it. Very sad. Even many of the Nordstrom house-brands didn't create plus equivalents, at least not in the items that particularly interested me. That's ok. Some years you win, some years less so...although the fact that the NYDJ cigarette pants won't ship to Canada tests my equinimity to a point. They'd be perfect for me and would fill a wardrobe gap!!</p> <p>That said, it wouldn't be Nas without a few tempting items, some of which I have questions about. </p> <p>First of all, the smock-sided leather jacket is really, really, really calling to me. I feel 99% sure it would be a hit on me just from reading the description. So much so that I won't even repost the link.
