When I lost my cat of 18 years a few years ago, I had such a hard time as I do when I lose a precious cat and must say goodbye. The beauty is, like your Tiger, there is always another loving cat just waiting to be loved. It took me about four months and then I needed that cat energy in my home again. Enter Birch and Goblin, and while each one is very different, the love we share is what makes life so very special. I get really emotional about the cat losses, especially. I know so well that terrible feeling at the beginning of seeing all their things, but not seeing <i>them </i>around the corners, on the beds, and in all the places.</p> <p>I'm sure you are still so sad, but time does help.</p> <p>If you want to adopt, there are so many young and adult cats waiting for a loving home. My DH and I got a dog shortly after we married and she was our baby for the 12 years we had with her. I remember crying every day after her death and then one day, when I realised I hadn’t cried, started crying because of that. The grief over the loss of a pet, is just as hard as the loss of human friends and family.
