they all look lovely, although i dont like the purple print one as much as the others. i think the silhouette is great, but it's not as apparent as with the teal one. i think the print might be just a bit too busy, and it tends to take away for the great shape of it.

as for the length, i too noticed the express ones are a bit shorter than the ones you usually wear with pants, but i dont think they look that bad.

I like the Esprit tops best. The Express tops are beautiful, but very frilly. also, the Express ones will be worn with skirts? They seem a tad short to wear with pants.

Ok , you got me convinced, I'll keep the teal Express blouse and return the purple one . Now I can not seem to find the receipt ( I'm currently completely reorganizing my closet and everything is in a big mess:)

I think the fit of the Esprit black and grey is PERFECT for you. Love the sleeves. Maybe just the photo, but the sleeveless looks a tad big on you. The turquoise Express is my favorite of the two Express tops, and I think the turquoise is very complimentary to your coloring. Plus, you could bring the color in nicely with accessories.

Love the teal one. What a great price, you did well. I can't believe you got 4 blouses for $70 total.

Thanks for the input!

I love both Esprit ones, I have already worn the black one end even gotten a spontaneous compliment from my BF-he rarely does that, well unless I ask him:)

As for the Express ones, I do like the teal print better, but did not want to mention it earlier as not to bias you. I couldn't decide if I should get the purple one as well in the store, so I brought it home to think it through and of course ask for advice here. Well, I still can't quite decide if I want to keep it, but I am keeping the teal one for sure.

Lannie, the Esprit sleeveless one is still available on their website for $25, in the outlet section under woven shirts ( the site won't let me do a direct link). Not all the sizes are left. It comes in navy as well.

My preferences are for the Esprit sleeveless and the teal Express print. How do you feel?

You're right, the Esprit tops are definite keepers. I love the sleeveless one and want one of my own immediately!
I like the general silhouette of the Express tops, but I don't know what I think of the prints. If you particularly like one of the prints I'd say just keep one, rather than having two shirts that are so similar.

Thanks ladies!

I took close up photos of the patterned blouses so that it can be seen better, since you've already seen the shape on me. I do not mind a single bit keeping them both ( they were $15 each and I like both prints), but than again I do not want to overload my wardrobe with too many similar items. Thanks!

Hi Tanya,

It's hard to tell from some of the pictures but at first glance the Express ones look even better than the Espirit ones but if you can't wear them too often and both are essentially the same style, why not keep one and return one.

Ooh I love those Esprit blouses. They look great on you. I always favor solids over prints, so I'm probably not the best for feedback, but on the Express ones the purple and cream print is too much for me. I do like the image of the teal/cream better than the purple cream, but neither compete with the Esprit tops in my opinion. But nearly my whole wardrobe is made up of solids, so hopefully we can hear back from some people who love prints. Overall, what great shirts!

I have not had time so far to post this yet, but I've started my fall shopping a week or so ago when I stumbled upon some bargains in one of my main categories on the fall list, ti-neck blouses. I got four of them for the grand total of $70, two from Esprit and two from Celia Birtwell's line from Express.

http://s300.photobucket.com/al.....20blouses/

The Esprit ones are definite keepers, but I am not so sure about the Express ones. Basically I am wondering if I'm having a serious case of sale googles They are made of sheer silk, and it's the same cut in two different patterns. Should I keep them/return them? Or only keep one and which one?

Both Esprit blouses would work for my workplace, while the Express blouses are two dressy so I will only be wearing them outside of it.

I am sorry about the bad quality of the photos, I can retake some of them later if that would help.

Thank you very much!
