Keeping the black in S. I've decided not to exchange the grey M for grey S. It was a hard decision because I'm happy about them, but just being practical...I still have to solve the issue of how to wear them with keeping them smoothly down into the boots, and the boots aren't all day shoes for me so wear will not be daily either. And the grey is so dark that it really didn't feel like a brand new look compared to black. I will happily wear the black ones, and be on the lookout for a lighter shade of grey in a bootcut style. If you can't, I'm in deep fashion do-do. I have to do it.&nbsp;</p> <p>Having said that, the easiest skinny pants to tuck are super skinnies or leggings. Skinnies with as much give as these can look bunchy tucked, and that isn't too great. Unless you sew (or pin) an elastic under the foot to make them sleeker when tucked. And flip it off when unneeded. I think the issue is my toothpick legs, and maybe I can think about getting that part taken in instead of going smaller. Or just leave them and feel slim instead of skinny. Which size would look better with ankle or tall boots?&nbsp;</p> <p>The S fits more skinny of course, but nothing is ever skinny on my scrawny 12.5 inch calves. I don't think I need to keep two pairs. I did also order a black M so my choices are black S, grey M, black M. I kind of like the idea of grey pants cause all I have is black, but these are a dark grey so it isn't like the look is much new or different.
