Such stylish ladies </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/throwback-thursday-way-back#post-1258507 Thu, 22 May 2014 21:16:18 +0000 MsMaven 1258507@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I had some photos for Mother's Day but missed it. &nbsp;I ended up pulling out a few photos of my grandmother, aunt and Mom.&nbsp;</p> <p>Grandma and her sister shopping. &nbsp;I'm guessing this is late 1940s to 50s. &nbsp;My Grandma shopped almost until she dropped. &nbsp;My Mom was horrified to find that Grandma still owed money to a local dress shop when she died--age 80.</p> <p>Grandma showing off as a 1920s fashion plate. &nbsp;I think that is my cousin, so would be mid to late '20s.</p> <p>I came across this portrait of Grandma--I think I had a photo of my Mom in the same dress. &nbsp;Late 40s, I'm guessing.</p> <p>Mom age 17--would have been 1926-7--showing off the hairdo.</p> <p>This one says Mom age 15. &nbsp;So 1924-5.</p> <p>Yeah, my Dad said they made bathtub gin in his grandma's bathtub.</p> <p> </p>
