I also love learning about the makers of the things I find. The purple bowl I’m pretty sure is by Blenko, a generations-old manufacturer in West Virginia, where my partner grew up. We have one other Blenko piece that had been left in a building neighbor’s apartment when he passed away and the lovely new owners gave it to us to remember him by. It’s rather a lot of WHITE for me both aesthetically and in terms of my spilling habits. But it elicited great enthusiasm in the communal change room so I said OK. Trying it on here with its own belt and with a contrasting belt. I may need to make use of the fashion tape tip for the buttons.<br /> 3 Just a nice little leather wallet. My old one was getting to look beat up.<br /> 4 Tiny leather cross-body bag. (Too tiny for the wallet, but has slots to hold credit cards, ID, etc.)<br /> 5-7 Then … I have been banned from thrifting any more random table ware owing to a recent incident in which my partner impulse-purchased a MASSIVE set of beautiful but somewhat impractical 1950s dishes. But these three glass bowls could not be left behind. I know they’re not clothes but I had to share. (I also know a case could be made that the purple one is hideous but I love it.) </p>
