If it's merino as labeled, it's not the long fine kind; it's scratchy. I'm the most scratch-averse person I know (can't wear cashmere) but this works because I don't wear it against skin. Charcoal-heather turtlenecks made it my woodsy casual, cosy "twinset." Fashion is different now from what it was when I wore these... Is this still current for a dressy/casual wardrobe? (I.e. my wardrobe is not sporty or athleisure, but doesn't have to be extremely formal).</p> <p>I know ultimately it's a personal decision, but getting input from others might help!</p>
