I also have a pair that is very, very dark maroon -- almost a red-toned black. </p> <p>I think they'd be great for your style. I also prefer the simpler styles of cowboy boots without too much detailing.</p> <p>I have dark hair too but I prefer the tan boots for wearing with casual dresses and skirts (as well as jeans) in spring and fall. I don't think it's always necessary to bookend.
