I have two of their tunics from last fall and have enjoyed them. I wash them on gentle and skip the dryer (except for a brief run to get wrinkles out). I will say the seams did slightly twist on one of them after washing. This actually happens too often with knits of all brands. The sizing for me was actually generous though so I wouldn't really size up.

I have tried on some of the items when I've been at Loft. I guess they have some standalone stores now, but I've not seen one. It seems to be a slouchy, neutral vibe to me. I have two items I've purchased that I love. One a clearance gray and cream top. The other is signaturesoft crew neck sweater. I am hoping I can find something similar on the sweater in a nice color this year. The quality seems kind of meh on both, with pilling imminent.

I don't have anything from the current Lou and Grey collection, but over the past year or two I've purchased a few pieces - pants, tees, long sleeve tops, dresses. I agree that you may have to size up from your usual LOFT size and I think the quality is really good.

A couple months ago I ordered trousers from Loft and was sent a Lou and Grey grey cardigan instead. It was so cute and comfy and my size, I almost kept it, lol, though it wasn't really my style.

Casual and younger is the appeal for me -- I'm a 30 yr old SAHM mom with a 2 yr old. I'm just looking for something that's a half-step up from cut-off jeans (my usual summer uniform), but still comfortable and with pockets, without getting too polished/preppy, which is what usually happens when I make a concerted effort to look summery. :-/

I haven't bought any pieces, but they seem to be a bit more casual and perhaps a bit 'younger' than other LOFT items...and I think they run more true to size as opposed to LOFT's more generous sizing.

Some of Lou & Grey's styles really appeal to me this summer (esp the breezy shorts, as skirts are not the most practical for me right now) -- but I know nothing about the label! They're a Loft spin-off, right? Wondering if anyone has any takes on sizing, quality, etc. TIA!
