I match the cami to the color of my bottoms, because that waist demarcation line is very unflattering on me. It is not everyone's cuppa but it works for me. I don't like skin color camis because they appear to me as if I'm naked underneath,,,

I realize I am coming late to this post, but this is a problem I have been encountering and it is driving me crazy. I love these sheer tops. I won't buy them because of the line issues.

I like to wear completely transparent tops with camisoles. I love that look! But I always leave the cami un-tucked unless the blouse is tucked in too. I don't find the lines jarring as long as the cami is pants top length (unless I'm wearing pleated pants).

With my Bellatrix tunic in particular, I have found that a cami that is close in shade to my bottoms works better for me than a white or cream one does. I wear a med brown one with med-dark jeans- even though the color is not similar, the depth of color is.

A color matched cami tucked or untucked is not a problem, nor do I think it looks messy.
Better than seeing the outline of ones bra.")

I leave my camis out with sheer tops so the line falls where the tunic ends - creating only one line across the butt (learned the hard way after seeing a bad photo of myself from the back!!)...

I like the nude color idea to at least eliminate one or two lines. I have a slim shaper style (yummy tummy knock off) tank that's great for this sort of thing. It basically blends right into your skin.

Pehaps a nude coloured cami ........... though that wouldn't solve the line with the jeans, if it was a dark sheer tunic a darker cami would work. I have a sheer dark shades of blue one that I wear a cobalt cami under x

Have you tried tucking in the cami? That way you would be eliminating one line - and would just have the one from your bra and the one from the waistband of your jeans.

OK, so it's not me! It's the line of the cami showing across my rear that makes me the nuttiest.

Argh, Beth, I know exactly the lines you mean. I have yet to see a white or cream piece that didn't reveal what was beneath it in some way. I know Angie suggests v-neck undershirts sometimes -- but then you have the additional line on your bicep. (Is it any wonder women fall back on black so often?)

AG, could you get a very fitted tee to layer beneath? Maybe one of those otherwise-useless "tissue tees"?

Yes, add a picture - I have two sweaters with this problem as well. One is from Allsaints and it is loosely knit so something has to be worn under it. Because it is long sleeved I feel weird with just a cami and the resulting lines! But not sure what else to do.

Maybe I need to post pictures too.

This question applies to the fab KC tunic as well as the cream Bellatrix tunic I'm wearing in my Hinge jacket thread.

These tops aren't see-through by any means, but you can definitely see bra outlines and especially a line of demarcation where dark jeans sit under the top. A cream cami (untucked) helps, but then you can see yet another line of varying shades. In my KC tunic, you can see the sheer cream of the top, then a line where the cami stops, then my jeans.

Does that make sense or should I add a picture? I just want to make sure it doesn't look messy and odd.
