It was pretty funny. I had given her the name of the line and the name of the style, and asked what materials it was made of. She responded by telling me she would be happy to help if I provided a style number. Here's what gets me: who is in a better position to find the style number? Kate Spade, when given the style name (I am sure they must have a database that matches style names with style numbers), or the customer? I called Zappos and they were able to get me the style number, so I have e-mailed it back to Kate Spade and am awaiting a response. </p> <p>I'm hoping I hear back tomorrow. Even if you have the bag, it might not help. In my experience, she doesn't label her bags with the materials, so whenever I go into the store I have to ask the salesperson what it is made of. If you need it for a function and you like it enough, sometimes that's as good as it gets when you have really restrictive criteria. What I do is buy what I need and like enough and then keep looking for the special pieces and when they come up, I buy them, regardless of need. They are so few and far between, that I get them while I can. </p> <p>I have a seatbelt bag that serves this purpose. Sometimes I want a purse that can go with me to a sporting event without fear of getting dirty, or is smaller than my Stellas, and I grab the seatbelt purse. Do I love it? No. But I like it enough and it's functional. I do wish there were more purse options for us; I find that I have a more difficult time finding vegan purses than shoes! </p>
