She has had diabetes and heart problems most of her adult life and it has taken a toll on her kidneys. Her doctor has told her she needs a kidney transplant or she will not live much longer. She is about a 4 - 4.5 hour drive away from me so I don't get to see her as often as I'd like, but we talk by phone weekly. Please send thoughts and prayers that she will be able to find a kidney donor. </p>
