I could see it belted or worn open, with either sleeveless or a long sleeved top underneath (burgundy &amp; coral would make an interesting combo), with any fitted white bottoms (jeans, shorts, even a skirt could work). There was a little tag that said “haori Seide”. The second word is German got silk; I thought haori was a descriptor for silk, not garment type, so I appreciate your comment. Next time I look at these, I’ll have to play with sleeves as pockets, because that’s brilliant and would not have thought of it. How can I tell if they’re the right size? With fitted garments, it’s easy, but I really wasn’t sure with these. It must’ve been hard to give away your mom’s. I love them all on you; I think the colors flatter you immensely although TBH I’m not keen on the circle print. I would wear them with anything plain and simple enough not to fight, from jeans to skirts to dresses. If it were me, I would need to decide whether the loose sleeves would interfere with how I live my life and if the jacket would slide around. But there is also another color that suits me. I’m torn. The burgundy is more in line with what I already have, obviously, but the purple would expand my range a bit, and it would go well with the pinks, blues, greens, and peaches. I’m repeating the purple pic from last week for comparison sake and yes, I wound up wearing exactly the same thing again today. </p> <p>A new temptation—silk kimonos! The colors glowed in the sunshine. I know they are “architectural”, kept thinking they were too big. The ties on the last one can be removed or swapped out corner others. </p> <p>Speaking of silk glowing in the sunshine, check out the scarves! I took pix wearing quite a few patterns, but don’t think they’re really showing much, so am not posting them all. I am really tempted, nearly bought a green one from this stand once in the past, but didn’t want to spend the money. My birthday is coming up…</p> <p>And, drumroll….. the dress was still there, but not anymore—it’s in my closet. </p> <p>I’ll check out jewelry at home to go with the dress, but a few things at the market caught my eye. </p> <p>Your opinions, please? </p>
