As these dolman sleeves create quite volume on top bottom band does not emphasize hips that much. I tried size M and L. I usually betwen M and L sizes (10-12). This band was a bit snug in M but it fitted well everywhere else. In L band feeled better but it was too big everywhere else.<br /> It is a beautiful top though and drapes very well. I would go for it in your place if its measurements fit you.
