I do have a beautiful winter coat that I love wearing. The only problem is since moving to Austin, I've worn it exactly 5 times and I've lived here over 2 years. I miss my Idaho weather. Winters are so mild here a lot of days all I need is a sweater and a scarf. I'm searching for some practical Fall to Spring layering pieces because if I have separate Fall/Spring wardrobes, each would get only about 2 months wear. It seems like such a waste. I have 2 blazers that I wear in Autumn, but they really are strictly Fall season appropriate--blue velvet, and orange tweed. I prefer the structure of a jacket and coat (woven), but if you prefer the softness of a knit, then this is your answer. It’s a more casual option, which is great if that’s your lifestyle.
