This was one of my best fashion purchases ever, in terms of great comfort for long car trips, for beach time, etc. It was cotton spandex and it didn’t easily wrinkle. It could be belted with anything from a skinny to a very wide belt, or worn with no belt at all. Since Garnet Hill tends to be known for their muted earth tones, you can sometimes find quite a gem among the bright clothing. Anyway, maybe you could use a hot pink good quality but inexpensive very casual hot weather dress, without getting all the way into the EF territory for budget and garment care, meaning keep it machine washable. </p> <p>I’m right there with you though about being overly swayed by a color. I bought a dress online in a lovely shade of red and had to try it on three times to conclude that there was something screwed up in how the dress was executed. I think that the belt loops were put in the wrong location, and the fabric was too delicate to attempt a DIY relocation of the loops.
