I picked up this Club Monaco trench in navy because the colour is great on me. But, it's also available in "peach blush". Maybe check it out to see if that's a colour that works for you.

I'm petite and it fits me well except for the sleeves which had to be shortened. It's a beautiful trench.

The photos are gone, -- but is it that you're in thd mood for a pale neutral for winter, as a change from dark colors? every so often there is a coat in mauvy- blush or some kind of grayed, cool pink. JCrew had one. BR has a short coat. Also, as per a recent discussion in beige, beige to me can be a very sophisticated, calm neutral if one can find the right shade.

Pinky beige (as opposed to blush) would be ideal, but it's so hard to find, especially in my preferred fit and fabric. I've only seen the colour in a very select number of Burberry jackets--I'm not sure why it's so scarce otherwise. I really liked the coat above (bracketing the colour) because the shoulders and arms were roomy, and it was a trench that nevertheless had some neck coverage. Also, pure wool/cashmere, no poly thrown in there. I almost purchased a Ted Baker coat minimalist will trench last year, but the arms were too tight.

I think Traci is onto something. I saw the photos earlier but on my phone so didn't comment, but I think a cooler stone shade could work nicely for you.

The pictures aren't available anymore but I also have a fair, pinky, cool complexion. I would LOVE to have a camel/beige coat in my closet but those colours look horrid on me. Navy, gray and black are better neutrals for me.

How do you do in more of a classic trench beige? I'm picturing cooler and lighter than what you show here. That may be harder to find in a winter weight coat.

Your eyes are a similar color to my daughter's. They glow when she wears a rich, dark teal.

Agreeing with others, this is too warm. A charcoal gray would be a great option if you wanted something really neutral. Jewel tones would also be great, esp. green.

I agree, it does you no favors. I'd say a jewel tone color, gray, ink or even black, would all be better.

I have similar coloring and stay away from anything tan. Makes me sad, sometimes, because it's such a classic color. But tans are so hard for me to wear. It's not just about wash-out; it can also bring out redness in a really unflattering way. I'd hold out for something better, something that really lights you up and makes you glow.

I think it may be a bit too warm toned when the light hits it. It's hard to say. It looks different in each pic. I do think you look a bit washed out. I would like to see your eyes sparkle more.

Last winter, my SO pointed out that my purple winter coat looked shabby. I only wore it for two winters, unfortunately, and the store from which I purchased it no longer exists in the US. I would really love to get a "beige" coat, broadly defined, but have often run into the problem of the colour washing me out. Sure, I can wear bright scarves and makeup (which I often do), but I don't want to feel like I must do that in order to pull it off.

Does this shade of camel work? The attached photos are intentionally unflattering-- no makeup, messy hair--so that you can get a better sense of whether this color could work with my au naturel state. For obvious reasons, I'll delete them once a consensus is reached.

Thanks in advance!
