I love it cause it's warm but not super humid We had few one off cooler (60s) days, cause of the tropical storm, but that's definitely not the norm.<br /> Love the dress outfit especially! You definitely wear your clothes more than I do. Even if the days warm up, our mornings and evenings are cool.&nbsp; </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/third-quarter-review#post-2340218 Mon, 02 Oct 2023 18:57:41 +0000 Carla 2340218@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>A cool start to summer resulted in mostly jeans or long, but lightweight pants during the month of June and warmer tops. &nbsp;As a result, summer specific garments didn’t come out in force until the third quarter of the year - or July, August, and September. &nbsp;I wore a mix of garments, but I’m a uniform dresser with a tendency to repeat combinations I&nbsp;<br />like. &nbsp;</p> <p> <div><br /></div><div>Reviewing ‘wear counts’ for the third quarter, reveals definite preferences. &nbsp;A regular outfit consisted of shorts, a linen camp shirt, sneakers, and a Tilley hat for sun protection. </p> <p>Black shorts - 22 wears<br />Beige shorts - 18 wears<br />Steel blue shorts - 17 wears<br />Levis wide leg jeans, white jeans, olive linen crops, black OTF crops - 6 times each</p> <p>White linen button down - 18 wears<br />Navy linen button down - 9 wears<br />Light blue linen button down - 8 wears<br />Yellow floral hoodie - 18 wears<br />J Crew cropped t - honourable mention, gifted by a YLF’er in Sept and worn 8 times!!</p> <p>Dressier items did see more wear this quarter, compared to previous summers since there were opportunities for dressing up. &nbsp;DH and I had a couple of casual dates with dinner at restaurants with outdoor patios, and then there were weekly bridge nights, and a trip in September. &nbsp;I had particular fun experimenting with a colourful sleeveless dress (4 wears) that I wore under skirts as a top, and throwing a bright coloured thrifted Hawaiin shirt (7 wears) over a tank top as a layering piece.</p> <p> </div><div><br /></div><div>October has started out hot (80degF!) so I am still in shorts, and having a hard time wrapping my head around fall dressing. &nbsp;I might pull out a pair of long pants, or a sweater if the day turns cool - but for the past two days I’ve been in shorts and a T!<br /><div><br /></div></div><div>Anyone else still milking your summer capsule, or have you moved on to fall? </p> <p> </div><div>A few outfits…</p> <p> </div></p>
