Sounds like most people prefer this one. I do think this one sang to me on, and the other two didn’t. Even though they were both much more expensive. I wasn’t intending to go cheap, your daughter doesn’t get married every day. I think fit and flare suits my shape better.<br /> Thanks for comments on fit, I had not noticed the waist being low so can look at that. Much happier to spend money on alterations on a cheaper dress. The other thing is that with time I can see if any other dresses pop up but this way, if I have this one, I won’t panic.<br /> Those who said this is not as formal and special, I do agree, but I’m also not sure how much formal is a good idea in heat and humidity. I can probably get photos not in the temple where I don’t wear a wrap. Just echoing everyone's comments re you looking happy / flattered in it, it photographing well, and it being a great backdrop. </p> <p>Looking at the fit it may be a little long in the torso as well as a bit wide (that's seen more in the back). So perhaps a quick hike up in the shoulder straps and side seams taken in to sort things out. </p> <p>Esp for special occasions, I think it's better to buy the cheaper item and get it altered than to spend more on a less perfect fit.</p> <p>Agree with metallic sandals...and a possibly metallic-infused scarf could be a nice alt for the one you have -- which I do like with the dress but in group photos could take over a bit.</p> <p>I peeked at Possible Dress 2 and while I like it better than #1 I see a lot of the same issues. The cobalt is an "uplifter" dress on you.</p> <p>If you want another to consider, I'd look for a style more similar to this shape-wise, which shows off your waist and legs (tastefully of course!).
