I went with the vest, but only until I tried my Zara coat on. It was too bulky and I realized my arms l lacked warmth. Even with thermals and handknit wool mitten I would be freezing. Then I tried to layer the vest over a puffer (see pic), but it just looked weird, not like Joy's cool redention. Anyway, in the end I changed to a white cashmere sweater. We had a great day at town. :-)</p> <p>This whole process made me realize that my shoulders and arms are happiest when I keep them toasted and that's easier to achieve with not too chunky or bulky layers.
