I also prefer the AT ones, they look beautiful. I too was going to suggest trying them on, there are so many variables to fit trousers. Fingers crossed that these will work out for you.

The Ann Taylor pants look nice but I have not seen them in person. Quality is typically much higher than The Loft.

Only way to know is to try on and pin them up to your required lengths. Sadly, that's how it is with pants!!

I like both pairs, sorry, no help! I think the pocket detail on the AT pair is a nice finishing detail, and also the leg looks a little sleeker on the model, compared to the other pair. Why don't you order one of each just so you can compare. It's always hard to get a good fit in pants and you just can't tell without trying.

http://www.anntaylor.com/ann/c.....Color=7951

For some reason these slacks catch my eye--that's saying something compared to most of the work slacks I see (shapeless, straight leg, and does really nothing for my figure..except to make me sad about it >.>). If I get them, I want two of them--one in each of the grey tones. That's how much I like them about now...

Problem is, apparently I have about a 24-25 inch inseam give or take (most likely I have to take them to alter them if I choose to stay with them), and I don't know if the quality is worth the price, or even worth the alterations. I've never bought Ann Taylor before, only Loft, and plus, even with the discount, they be a little pricey for a student >.>

That and the slight minute detailing on the back might stand out on my..ahem fairly round bottom. It's minute though, just wondering if it's more of an impact than I think it would..

There's also this other nice pair at Nordie's..

http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/ha.....sultback=0

Any thoughts on that? I'd probably only get it in chocolate though because I'm not a fan of light colored bottoms..

So, I would love some feedback if anyone can pipe in, always am appreciating it!
