I wear ankle pants all Spring and Summer, for work and casual. Love them! Shoes first...sandals, loafers, pointy toe flats/ballet flats, cute slip on sneaks. For me, just about any top works too...lightweight sweaters(loose or semi-tucked), tucked silk blouses, tunics, tank untucked with long cardi. I don't wear blazers in warmer weather, but I think that look is great as well. Looking forward to your WIWs with these!

I'll be watching this thread because I bought a pair of cropped khaki chinos from BR last fall. My plan was to wear them as in this photo (the version on the right), with a white tee and a blazer.

Last fall I picked up a couple of the Caslon brand cropped chinos - similar if not identical to the ones in the finds - in olive and gray. I didn't wear them much before the weather turned cool but I was wondering if anyone had any tips for what shoes to wear, length and style of tops, etc. I always struggle with cropped pants but I think these might work better than cropped jeans for me because they stand away from the body a bit and so don't look so ice cream cone like.
