I had only skimmed quickly and you are right and the fact that they are not leather is a deal breaker in this instance. Red boots have been on my "list" for about 12 months so seeing these caused me to revisit the possibility. Having read your comments and having lived with the idea of red talk boots for ages now, I have come to the conclusion that I don't need them or want them after all:). The second pair is not leather at all. The first pair has a leather lining, but at least from what I understand, the outer, visible boot is not made of leather. I had suspected as much, since that seemed to be an extremely low price for a leather boot. (ETA that it's sneaky the way they describe the boots as "patent".
