My skinniest occassionally ride up, but skirts, yes skirts do that when I sit down. I have long arms, so the opposite problem from yours.

I am with you on the arms! When I try on tops, I feel like I must be deformed because to get things buttoned, I have to go to a much larger size. With me it's all pretty much a boob problem, which makes it worse because things not only cover my hands, the shoulder seams end up halfway down my arms. Although now I've put on enough weight that I have back fat that isn't helping. Pretty much have give up on anything with buttons, and I get so sick of pullover sweaters, t-shirts and draped neckline sleeveless tops.

I hereby declare that there is not anything wrong with us. The clothes are wrong.

My arms are probably longer than most so I find long sleeved T shirts are too short unless they are "high end". That means expensive. The same goes for blazers, jackets, etc.

I also have the riding up problem with cropped pants.

Jeans that are higher rise are too loose on my waist and will fall down without a belt.

Forget button down shirts. I have a skinny torso and an average bust. The shirt will not close or I drown in it. (The band size of my bra is 30 or 32)

I have the riding up problem with tapered ankle or even nearly full length pants. It became a rate-limiting step for some. Some I could predict and some seemed okay but then, boom, I'd get up after sitting and one or both pant legs hanging up there. Just not tolerable for a work look! So it's really hard to find just the right amount of taper and where it falls to avoid that. And usually worse if I try to roll anything.

Skinnies ride up on my calves if they have stretch in them (which most of mine do). I have pretty wide calves, that's probably why.

I have short arms too. I buy petite sizes most of the time, but once in a while there's a top I like that doesn't come in petite, so I'll see if the sleeves can be rolled, cuffed, or scrunched. Or I have it altered.

All my sleeves are too long. I don't get them tailored because it's mostly sweaters (can't really shorten sleeves) or button downs that would be expensive to alter. I do get blazers altered.

Some brands have shorter sleeves than others, so I pay attention to that while shopping.

For button-downs, I make a fake French cuff by folding the cuff up on turn and then doing the button from the wrong side. It works ok.

Maybe this is an obvious question but have you tried petite sizes? They don't work for me (long torso, and the armholes are too small and too high) but sometimes it works for loose sweaters for instance.

My skinnies and crops don't ride up but nearly all are oversized or are loose. Today I am wearing Kut skinnies in my smallest size, but they are still loose on my skinny legs. They are also a thick weight of denim.
My arms are long for my size so many times sleeves are not long enough. That is a problem too. Most of the time I just scrunch or roll sleeves shorter. It doesn't work to go up a size to get longer sleeves as then the piece is sloppy big through the bust and neck. I guess we all have different problems. I think I would rather have your sleeve problem, especially when it comes to coats. Can you have sleeves shortened?

I have that same issue with some skinnies. It depends on the amount of stretch and/or calf width -- they don't all do it.

My arms are also a bit short. My seamstress is my friend. ;)

Just a coupe of clothing issues I haven't seen mentioned on this forum;

I am so tired of skinnies and crops that ride up my legs when I am sitting and have to be pulled down every time I get up.

Am I the only one who has arms that are too short? I have big shoulders and boobs so have to get larger size tops and jackets. 3/4 sleeve lengths are perfect, but most long sleeves are too long. So maybe it isn't my arms being short, but something wrong with the clothes????
