I have found, though, that on me if they aren't tapered more at the ankle to follow my leg line (more so than the Madewell ones you linked to)&nbsp;then they just make my already short legs look shorter/stumpier and aren't terribly flattering. I like that these are neutral-toned, have distressing over patching (you have to zoom in to see), and have a slightly higher rise (no muffin top). I would probably buy them a size up from how the model is wearing them to get a slouchier look. While I could get boyfriends and just roll them -- and I like that look -- I also like the idea of a sleeker cropped pant that does not have cuffs.
